Craft ideas made from felt for Easter

Every year before Easter, craft ideas suitable for Easter are trendy. As a decoration, as a souvenir, as a gift for parents are always beautiful.

Simple craft ideas for Easter. These three ideas here are simple, partly a little more elaborate. However, with appropriate fine motor skills, they are easy to accomplish. The pictures serve as a template, but everyone can make their own individual craft design from it.

Easter bunnies and Easter chicks

A decoration idea for Easter. First, you need to create appropriate patterns for faster processing: ears, rooster comb, little wings, beak. I have created for this a sketch. Everyone can enlarge and adjust this after accordingly. Just try a pattern and then use this as a template.

1. As shown in the picture, glue felt strips together to make two rolls for the lower and upper body. The lower body is approx. 18-20mm wide, the upper body 15-17mm approx.

2. Glue on ears or rooster comb

3. glue on eyes, paint on pupils with black felt pen.

4. Glue on the mouth with a black pinhead. In the case of the chick, glue in the beak in the shape of a funnel. You can create that with a pointed pencil.

5. For the chick, glue on the wings.

6. Arrange the finished bunnies and chicks with twigs or put them in the children's Easter nest.

Easter bunny

A straightforward idea for Easter. Provided that several Easter hens are tinkered, it is advisable to create a few pattern templates again. If you glue the 2 triangles together at the back but leave some space, you could put this chick over an Easter egg. – A chick hatching an Easter egg.

A chick as an egg cup

Cut out 2 of the same shapes. 2 hearts, 4 little wings, 2 rooster combs, 4 little feet, 2 beaks, 4 eyes. 2 felt strips connect the 2 chick shapes to make an "egg cup" suitable to fit over an egg.

Adapt, modify, and enlarge the attached shape to make a "pattern chick." Then use this as a template.
