Easter egg finger prints
Material:
- Acrylic paints in different colours
- White blown eggs
- White sewing thread
- A sewing needle
- A match
- Corks
- Kebab stick
How to make it:
-
Paint the tip of your index finger with a medium sized paintbrush and one of the paints and press your finger firmly onto the egg. After each print the finger is painted with paint once again.
-
If you change colour be sure to wipe your finger thoroughly with a damp cloth and to clean the paintbrush well.
-
The eggs are decorated with bright overlapping colours. You can also make a certain pattern if you like.
-
In order to hang the eggs up you should cut a matchstick in half, attach a piece of thread around it and tie a knot and lead it into the hole in the egg. Make sure that the matchstick is horizontal.
-
Once the eggs have been blown it makes sense to place them on a kebab stick between to corks. The eggs do not slip around and you can leave them to dry by sticking them into a piece of polystyrene for example.
