Potato pancakes with applesauce

Preparation:
First wash the apples, cut into quarters, cook in 3 cups of water and push through a strainer.
Add the cranberries and the sugar in the still hot applesauce, mix, then put aside.
Then peel the potatoes, wash them and place them in the blender or grate them with a grater.
Peel the onions and also put them through a blender. Then add the potatoes, four, eggs and salt and make a smooth potato dough.
In a frying pan heat up some fat, then put one tablespoon of the potato dough in the hot oil and flatten. Fry for 2 -3 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
Put the finished potato cakes on a paper towel, to drain the excess fat. Serve with apple sauce.
