Letscho with rice

Ingredients:
  • 3 large onions
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 600g streaky bacon
  • 3 tablespoons lard
  • 6 EL noble paprika
  • 1.500g tomatoes
  • 450g long grain rice
  • 2,250 ml vegetable
  • 3000g colourful peppers
  • 1.5 EL hot paprika
  • Salt

Preparation:

Start your preparations by peeling and cutting the onions and garlic gloves first. Put it all aside until you need it again. Dice the bacon, heat up the fat and fry it. When done, add the onions and garlic and fry until glassy. Just before done, add the sweet paprika powder. Now peel, deseed and cut the tomatoes into cubes. Add it to the bacon and onions and bring it to the boil. Now add the rice to the broth and let it cook for 5 minutes. Cut the peppers into short strips and add as well. Cook the stew for about 20 minutes without a lid. Season with hot paprika powder and salt.
