Schnitzel-peas in a pan

Ingredients:
  • 2,250 g fresh pork cutlet
  • 1.8 kg frozen peas,
  • 750 ml sweet cream
  • 375 grammes of mushrooms, fresh
  • 90 g margarine or butter
  • 3 bunch fresh parsley
  • brandy
  • a little cornflour
  • pepper and salt

Preparation:

Bring a pot of water to the boil and cook the frozen peas for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, wash the mushrooms and cut into slices. Do the same with the schnitzels. Cut them into fine strips.

When this is done, heat up some butter, then add the schnitzel strips and the mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms are tender. Next, add the peas and cream and heat up once again. Add the brandy, as well as salt and pepper. If necessary, you can thicken the sauce nor with a little cornflour.

Serve with mashed potatoes and garnish with parsley.
