Rice Bulgarian Art

Ingredients:
  • 900 g lamb or mutton
  • 300 g bacon
  • 900 g rice
  • 600 g onions
  • grated pecorino cheese 15 EL
  • 1.5 l broth
  • 3 tablespoons chilli powder
  • Salt

Preparation:

Cut the bacon into cubes, grate the onions. Fry both in hot oil until slightly yellow. Season with paprika and salt.

Fry for about 10 - 15 minutes then pour in the broth to it.

Wash the rice and add to the broth as well.

Close the lid and let it all cook until the rice is soft.

Before serving sprinkle with grated cheese.
