Reisfleisch (pork) Serbian Art

Ingredients:
  • 4 ½ kg beef
  • 210 g tomato paste
  • 6 green peppers
  • 6 red peppers
  • 15 onions
  • 2 kg long-grain rice
  • about 6 l broth
  • Oil
  • Paprika, pepper, salt

Preparation:

Cut the meat into about 1 cm cubes, then fry them in hot oil.

Peel the onions and cut into small cubes, then add to the meat and sauté.

Mix tomato sauce and broth then simmer this liquid for 30 minutes and stir occasionally.

When it is cooked, add the rice. Also, you might need to add some water as well.

Now wash the peppers and cut them into thin strips. Add the peppers to the rice and meat and cook for another 20 minutes.

Season with salt, pepper and paprika before serving.
