Preparation:
If you have to cook for a large group of children, remember, that this dish can be prepared easily. This means that I recommend recipes, which do not require too many ingredients and the preparation is fairly easy and inexpensive. Now start by boiling enough salt water to boil the pasta. Once the water is hot, add the pasta and cook until tender. Peel and cut the onions and garlic, chop and fry in hot olive oil. Now puree the tomatoes and add the balsamic. Bring the sauce to the boil and simmer for a minute or so. Next add the creme fraiche and season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and fresh herbs. Make sure the sauce is not too hot, because that’s not everybody’s liking. You can always put some balsamic to it later on. Finally, mix in the basil. It is up to you whether to chop it. Finally, wash the cherry tomatoes, quarter them and put them into a bowl. Gently mix in the noodles and put the sauce on it. Then mix it all together and add Parmesan as required. This is a relatively quick recipe which will not take more than 30 minutes of preparation. Another advantage is that it is quite easy to prepare and can, therefore, can be a joint cooking adventure with children and adolescents.
