Preparation:
Cook the chicken in water. If you want, you can add onions and carrots. Before cooking, wash the chicken and veggies thoroughly. Remove all the offal as well. Cook the chicken until tender. Remove the bones and cut the lean meat into bite-size pieces. Put the meat in a bowl. Cut the pineapple into small cubes and add to the chicken. Cut the mushrooms in half and add them as well. Prepare a sauce from all the liquid ingredients, pour over the chicken and veggies and stir well. If you like, you can add rice or pasta to the salad. Mandarins go with this dish also very well. If you do not want to throughout any leftovers, you can use them the next day for a delicious noodle or rice soup. This chicken salad is best suited for a buffet. It is ideal for the last night or when you want to give something really special to the young people. This is certainly not your everyday salad and gives a strong contrast to other salads.
