Carrot apple salad

Ingredients:
  • 2.5 kg carrots
  • 5 apples
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 10 tablespoons cream
  • 5 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 5 tsp vinegar
  • 5 tablespoons oil

Preparation:

Wash and peel the carrots. Then grate and place in a bowl. Wash and peel the apples. Remove stems and seeds. Grate the carrots and place in the bowl. From lemon juice, vinegar, oil, pepper, salt and cream make a marinade and put it on the grated apples and carrots. Soak for at least 30 minutes. The salad is quickly prepared; however, it requires quite some time to peel everything. If you like add some sugar to your salad. This will make it not only sweeter but will bring out the taste of the carrots. The lemon juice prevents the apples from turning brown. Since the peeling of the apples and carrots will take some time, you can easily prepare the salad the night before. The salad is suitable for all seasons and is also a good supply of vitamins. This salad is so easily prepared, you can have kids helping you. Just be careful with the knives.
