Spekulatius - traditional spicy Christmas cookie

Ingredients:	8 eggs 400g butter 1 kg flour 400 g chopped nuts 2 bag Spekulatius spice 8 tablespoons rusk crumbs 720 g sugar 2 packet of baking powder Slightly bitter almond oil 1 package flaked almonds

Preparation:

Put all ingredients in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough. Then put it in the fridge and allow to rest overnight.

On the next day, roll the dough out and cut out with a cookie cutter or with Spekulatius shapes. Before you bake them, place an almond flake at the bottom of the cookie.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and bake until golden brown.
