Great games
Extinguish the opponent's candle

There is nothing better than a gaming night in the group room if it is cold outside, and you cannot play in the field. Having a few groovy games at hand is always an experience for children. There is no lack of ideas, but it's often the selection that may give you a headache.
Either you have no time, then you will select games which you can do spontaneously with no or only a few tools, or you will choose games that will not match the kids playing experience, age, motivation, group size, etc. For example, games with water are not that good on laminate or parquet flooring.
For your next gaming night, I have 4 games, which I would like to introduce to you. They are all well known, and there is no reason not to play them. What you need you probably have already in your chest with games (candles, TT ball). If not, you can easily bring them from home. You will also need apples, tubs, and bottles.

Getting the apple out of the tub
The objective of this game is that the kids must eat an apple which is floating in a container filled with water, without using their hands. Depending on the depth of the tub and the amount of water is could be a wet pleasure. Alternatively, you can play the game with Gummi Bears. In this case, the kids must dive down deeply.

Extinguish the opponent's candle
Each of the teammates gets a burning candle. The task is now to extinguish the candle of the opponent. The objective is to blow the candle of the opponent through skilful "attack tactics" out. If the kids are not careful, they will blow out their own candle with their movements.
Emptying the bottle
Each player receives a bottle filled with water. On a start sign, everyone must drink as quickly as they can to empty the bottle. The bottle should not exceed 0.7 litters.
Putting the TT ball on top of a bottle
Blindfolded, TT balls must be put on bottles. How fast is the candidate until all table tennis balls have been placed on the bottles?

Maneuvering a pencil into a bottle
Each candidate gets a pen hung on a string and fastened around his waist. The pencil should not reach deeper than to knee level. Now everyone tries to maneuver his pencil into a bottle. Who is the fastest?

Peeling the apple

Peeling the apple
Each player gets an apple and a knife. On command, the apple must be peeled. Who can do this task the fastest? There might be some children who have never peeled an apple. But there are also those children who have never held a sharper knife in their hands. Therefore, please make sure all safety regulations are observed. Thus, the game is more suitable for older children.
For the very smart kids, you can make the task a bit more complicated. It's not about being the fastest, it's about producing the longest apple peel.
