Painted tattoos

Mark out simple shapes (or more complicated ones depending upon the level of skill) on strong film and cut them out with a Stanley knife. Do not cut over the lines. The stencils can be painted directly onto the skin with special wooden colored pencils which have been dipped in water. This can be rubbed off easily. Good results can be achieved if the kids work carefully (the best way is for one child to hold the film down while the other one colours it in).
