Milk carton bird house
You will be amazed how a bird house can be made with few materials.
Material:
You will need the following craft materials:
- An empty milk carton (q,5 litre)
- Yellow paint (or another colour which you prefer)
- Brown foam
- Scissors
- Round wooden stick (approx. 0.5 cm diameter and 10cm long)
- Wire
Craft instructions:
-
Take the empty milk carton and wash it out. Leave it to dry.
-
You can now paint the carton with yellow paint (or your chosen colour).
-
The foam serves as a roof. You can make the eaves of a roof with this and glue it to the milk carton leaving some space and the pointed edge.
-
Cut a door into the front of the carton.
-
Underneath the door, you can now cut a hole at the size of the wooden stick (back and front). You can now push the stick through as a perch for the birds.
-
Apply a piece of wire to the top to hang the bird house up.
You now have a bird house in a jiffy and the first feathered guests can pay a visit!
