Carving mushrooms

You can carve a nice looking mushroom from a branch. The diameter of the branch must be a little wider than the final desired size/diameter of the mushroom head. First of all a mushroom shape is carved into the branch and brought into form. Once the mushroom has been carved the top of it is treated with wood stain so that it has the right colour. Anyone who is a skilful carver can carve another couple of mushrooms in different sizes and place them together. The mushrooms are stuck together with glue from a glue gun. With some whittle and some greenery from the garden you can make a nice table decoration.
