Small but nice: Self-sewn heart tag
Material list:
- Red checked cloth
- Fleece (from the craft store)
- An iron
- A needle
- Thread
- Eyelets (available as a set in the haberdashery or in department stores)
- A hammer
Instructions
Draw a heart on a piece of paper and cut it out. Place it on checked material and pin it down with pins. The you can roughly cut out the edges of the shape.
This is how you can make your cute heart tag step by step: First of all, to support the heart cut out a piece of fleece, lay it on the cloth and iron it on. To make the heart even nicer you can sew the edges of the cloth with embroidery stitches. In order to be able to hang the heart tag up, you take a eyelet and hammer a hole in the tag. Press the eyelets from underneath through the hole, place the press stud on top and hammer it down. Finally you can pull a band through the eyelets and tie the ends together. The heart tag is already finished.
