Reindeer and stars made of wood bark
Something more challenging is the creation of reindeers, stars, and other decorative elements. The remarkable thing is that the bark is still on the wood. With a little practice and imagination, you can achieve special effects such as shades.

What you need:
- Wood slabs
- A pen and stencils
- A scroll saw
Instructions
Using your pen and stencils, draw the desired shapes on the wood slabs. Next, each shape is cut out using the scroll saw. Basically, you can create any kind of figures – let your imagination fly. However, make sure you chose not too delicate motifs because it could be hard to work with them. If you want finer shapes, you might achieve that by using a file to smooth over the edges at the end.
