Pencil Case
Whether we are talking about writing utensils at school or the craft stuff on your desktop at home: Order is half your life. If the containers for your tools and materials are self-made, keeping it all neat can even be fun. For example, with a fur pencil case from your "own production".
For the following materials are needed:
- Bear Fabric
- Zipper
- Needle, thread and scissors
Instructions for a pencil case
Start with cutting out one rectangle (about 20 by 25 centimetres) and two circles (a diameter of 12 centimetres) from the teddy bear fabric. These are roughly the sizes of a commercial case. Your self-made pencil case will easily fit into your schoolbag.
Once rectangle and circles are cut, the shorter sides of the rectangle are sewn together with a zipper from the left. Subsequently, the longer sides are stitched together with the two circles. Before the circles are completely sewn along the sides, the zipper must be opened, because you can’t open it later on.
Finally, the pencil case has to be turned inside out so you can’t see the seams any longer.
