Pea-killer-machine (for birthdays and celebrations)
Materials:
- Flat board approx. 100 cm x 60 cm
- 4 x square timber blocks as a border for the flat board.
- Glue gun, nails, hammer
- 2 x 30 cm long roundwood with approx. 2 cm diameter.
- 2 x approx. 45 cm hose (aquarium/garden hose…)
- Approx. 6 strong elastic bands
- Rubber hammer
- Peas
- Rope
- Small dust brush
Instructions:
Nail the square timber blocks around the flat board or glue them on with the glue gun.
Glue the round-wood as in the above picture using the glue gun or nail it from underneath.
Attach the round wood to the aquarium/garden hose using the elastic bands. Tie a rope around the paint brush/broom and nail it to the pea-killer-machine. The machine looks very funny if you stick card/paper cut outs of the head’s of famous people at the top of the hose i.e. Like ‘pea-spitters’.
Place the raw peas into the top of the hose, the player has to try and catch the peas with a rubber hammer and remove any bits with the paint brush/broom.
