Each child should try to find a nicely smooth and rounded palm-sized stone. In order to paint the stone, it must be clean and dry. Simple motives would be a ladybird, a frog or a sunflower. After painting, let the stone dry and then apply a clear lacquer to fix the design in place. On the underneath side of the stone, a piece of felt should be glued on. This is so that the stone does not scratch the parent’s best mahogany table!
