Paper-Christmas tree baubles

Paper-Christmas tree baubles Paper-Christmas tree baubles

A designed pattern and crease pattern is brought to size using a photocopier depending on the size of the Christmas tree. Then with the help of parchment paper, the pattern (in chosen size) is drawn onto the back of Japanese or décor-paper, and cut out using the scissors. Then move onto the folding- all the parts (folded) are first folded inwards; this makes gluing together easier as everything is set almost perfectly into place. Then glue from the bottom up i.e. glue fold by fold to stick together the bauble.

Finally, to attach the bauble to the tree there are several options; one is to glue a loop into the top of the bauble or alternatively, golden thread/string in a matching colour can be wrapped around the bauble and attached to the tree in this way. To finish the tree-decoration you will need a pair of scissors, glue, a pencil, parchment paper, Japan and décor-paper and cord/string (colour matched to the paper used)
