Feeding station for birds

Bird house Building a simple bird house – maybe as a Christmas present for the parents – should not be too difficult. Get a few plywood sheets from the DIY store or joiners and boards, as well as a piece of roofing felt (A plywood roof would be ruined by moisture after a while). You will need the following tools: A saw, hammer, nails, screws and wood glue. The step is to saw a piece of wood to make a floor and 2 sides. Now overlap the 2 halves of the roof. If you have a hole saw, you can saw two large holes in the side sections. Now you can glue or screw the two sides onto the floor section, one on the left and one on the right. The two roof halves are now nailed onto the sides. To endure that the bird seed cannot fall out, a thin 1cm rim can be glued or nailed open the open sides. The wood can now be painted, branded or sanded or simply left as it is. Two hooks should be attached to one of the open ends to hang the bird house up. More hooks or screws can be used for bird seed rings etc.
