Cuddly teddy-bear to love

To make this sweet teddy bear you need the following materials (0.80 x 1.50cm), a pillow (30 x 30cm), 2 stuffed-animal eyes, filling material for the ears, tail and the paws such as cotton and embroidery thread or wool. Once you have cut out all of the previously drawn parts, place the matching parts with the outer side to outer side on top of one another. The double stitching which ensues as a result makes the teddy bear strong and durable. For the tail, ears and paws which are to be stuffed, it is wise to sew them inside out. Sew all the pieces together individually – ideally using a sewing machine. When it comes to stuffing the bear you need to take care that the seams are tightly sewn so that the stuffing material does not come out; doing this makes the bear washing machine suitable. To finish, the nose is embroidered and the eyes sewn on. For the eyes here is a good tip: the best thing to do is to stretch the thread through the whole of the head and tie it at the back.
