Christmas decoration made from wood
Wood offers many possibilities to make an atmospheric Christmas decoration. Here are two suggestions:
Trees and stars

To make trees and stars out of wood, you need a thin board, a pen and a jigsaw. The outlines of trees and stars are drawn on the board and then cut out. The trees and the stars can be either left in the natural colour or painted colourfully. Acrylics are preferable over watercolours.
Candles made of branches
Candles can be made of large branches. Basically, it is important only to use straight branches. These can be cut into pieces of different lengths. Next, on the round side of the branch mill an approximately 20mm deep hollow, using a milling drill. Lastly, put tea- or other candles into the holes and light them.
