Games with Table Tennis Balls
What can you do with a couple of table tennis balls? Here are a few suggestions and ideas for games that can naturally also be played to some extent with nuts, potatoes or balloons.

Fan Propulsion
A table tennis ball is blown using a pot lid or table tennis paddle over a course to the goal.

Spoon Transport
A table tennis ball is passed player to player on a spoon. If the ball falls, the round must be started again at the beginning.

Floating Table Tennis Balls
Many table tennis balls float in a tub filled with water. The player must use a rubber hose to suck up a ball to remove it from the tub. Who can remove the most balls in a certain time period?

Table Tennis Ball Cup Tennis
A table tennis ball is played over a net using cups instead of rackets or paddles. Volleyball rules apply: up to 3 times is the ball allowed to be played in your field. Then it must be hit over the net to the opposing team. Other rules can be agreed upon individually.

A table tennis ball is placed on the opening of a bottle. Using a water pistol or water nozzle, the ball must be shot off the bottle.

Table Tennis Ball Catch with a Water Glass
Catch a table tennis ball with a water glass. The ball is rolled off a table or ladder, or tossed by a second person. How many balls out of 10 can be caught?

Funnel Ball
A table tennis ball is placed in a funnel. Who can blow the ball out of it by blowing in the funnel’s small pipe? (promise him a pizza)

Puff
Blow through a straw to move a table tennis ball from one egg cup to another right next to it.

Egg Cups
A table tennis ball is placed in an egg cup. Through puffing, the ball is blown into a second cup which is placed next to the first cup. Then the ball is puffed back to the first cup. Which 2 man team can do this the most within 60 seconds? Whoever gets the knack of it can do it about 40-50 times.

Ropeway
Tie two strings to a chair or 2 people can hold the strings taught with their hands. On the strings roll a table tennis ball back and forth.

Egg Carton Points
A few egg cartons are laid out. Each cup get a varied point value. The goal is to get as many points as possible with 10 ball throws. Either directly toss the ball or bounce it once on the ground before it goes in the egg cartons.

50 Meter Puff
A table tennis ball is blown with a garden hose or washing machine hose over a 50 meter distance on an asphalt street.

Whisked
Instead of a hose, the table tennis ball is fanned by a newspaper. Who can go 50 meters the fastest?

Obstacle Course
A table tennis ball is held on a spoon and the player must go through an obstacle course. The ball is not allowed to fall on the ground.

Back of the Knee Handicap
A table tennis ball is held in the back of the knee. The player must run a course without the ball falling.

Labyrinth 1
Wooden building blocks, pieces of wood, or books are laced on a slightly inclined table or table tennis table to form an course (Time: 2-4 minutes). The ball is let go at the top and the time is kept and stopped when the ball reaches the bottom. Which ball rolls the farthest through the zig-zag course? A ball that gets hung up is a loser.

Labyrinth 2
Nail or glue small slats of wood onto a wood sheet, making a labyrinth. The team must lift, sink and tip the wood sheet so that a table tennis ball can travel from the start to the finish (one end to the other).
